VALVES
2099 & 2100 ARCTIC ICE RESISTANT VALVE
The Arctic Ice Resistant Valve has been designed specifically to cope with extreme cold temperatures for outside water systems.
When there is water in a valve and the temperature drops below 0°C the water turns to ice, thus causing an increase in volume. This increase creates a pressure that can break traditional valves. The Arctic Ice Resistant valve has been specially designed with an elastic body that is able to absorb the increase in volume caused by icing and then returns to its original geometric and sealing characteristics the moment the temperature rises. This means a greater life cycle. KEY FEATURES Resistant to damage caused by ice forming inside the fitting, this is due to its polypropylene copolymer body Available in both ball valve and bib tap Ball valve is PN16 Black in colour to resist UV rays without oxidising Both types of valve connect via BSP thread Sizes available; ½” ¾” and 1”
